Work as a member of the Road Trip team, help manage and organise plans for young people’s gap years, help plan and organise events, contribute to the construction and implementation of an impact measurement system, initiate your own personal project. Placements available from May to December, August to December 2021 and January to December 2022 The main aim is to help, support and motivate children, young people and adults in their education, to share solidarity and volunteering in our organization and in Europe. This will be realised with:

1. Cooperation with primary and high schools in the region
2. Cooperation with Unemployment office, municipal office Rychnov and Kněžnou and local people.
3. Cooperation with companies in our region.

Volunteers will help to organise: workshops, exhibitions, presentations, bulletins, will assist in language courses and will lead one their own conversation course in English/French/Spanish/German, will update blog, Facebook, webpages and other on-line media, take part in summer camps and youth exchange… Note: Visa now required for volunteers on placements 3 months+

NOW CLOSED Placement available from mid-August 2021 to mid-February 2022 Spend 6 months in Central Finland’s rural “Lakeland”, surrounded by beautiful pine forests. Work in a youth centre raising awareness in the local community of the positive impact that European cooperation brings and promote international possibilities for young people. Contribute to developing activities and designing non-formal lessons and workshops for local schools and youth clubs.  You will also work in an Animal Home with groups and plan for a farm escape project there.  Update social media once a week and design workshops to be organized in schools and youth clubs in the Northern Central Finland area, where you will later visit and organize the workshops and promote European solidarity projects.

ON HOLD Register your interest in this long term ESC project in Timisoara, Romania – Dates TBC Help to prepare the local community for the arrival of 260 volunteers who will convert 10 old industrial buildings into new youth centres. Raise awareness among the local young people of the importance of voluntary activities. Promote inclusion and human rights education by implementing weekly workshops. Engage them in non-formal workshops and debate the concepts of youth participation and active citizenship at local, national and international level. NOW CLOSED Training Course for young youth workers aged 18 to 25 in Mlynky, Slovakia – dates TBC. Youth leaders act as role models, as supporters and as many other roles in the complexity of youth activities. For that, they need several key competences – knowledge, skills and attitudes. With these they can lead others and themselves for a better future.
