4 Days Together

4 Days Together

Over the last four days we have been to the wonderful Glaramara centre up in the Borrowdale Valley. This has been the host of many Momentum of events over the years. We have seen a transform from an outdoor centre to a wonderful hotel.

The whole team met and decided to give ourselves a number of challenges. One of these was to update the Momentum website. Each of us took on different aspects and over three days the site has been polished and streamlined. We even got a walk one of the most beautiful days I’ve ever seen in December.

The coming together finished with us meeting our friends and volunteers who are working at the Calvert Trust. We treated them to a wonderful Christmas party and five course meal.

We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year look forward to more exciting things happening in 2020

end of training course

Dear Momentum friends, Thank you warmly for sharing your experience, knowledge and kindness with me. Hope to become your reliable partner in the near future. By the way, I have already received, filled in and submitted back the EU survey on the training course. I have noticed that under the field of Country of mobility it says: United Kingdom, not Germany. Looking forward to meeting you again Sincerely, Diana

Hi all, I’m Orhan from the city where Europe and Asia crosses. I study psychology in Istanbul, and I’ve heard of this project thanks to YouthLab. I’m actually really excited to meet new people all over the Europe and share our cultures while also learning about the details of leading and managing a youth project more effectively. I’ve been to Berlin two years ago, when I was interrailing by myself. It’s a different experience to travel alone, when your only purpose is to see cities, and to know different people from different culture. This time, I hope to experience Berlin in a different way, with the purpose of learning, and meeting people again, but, with the ones who share the same purpose with you. I’m at the airport right now, and look forward to meet you all. Kind Regards, Orhan

One Step Ahead, Berlin

One Step Ahead, Berlin

Hi, My name is Marta, and I come from Italy. I am so excited to participate into the course. As I have no experience about planning an European Project, my aim is to gain more confidence and skills to write a cool project for my organization and on, maybe becoming an European project manager myself, who knows. I also hope to meet funny and happy people and to have lot of fun together, as well as to share constructive opinions and conversations about Europe and the World (as we are leaving in an unbalanced society). My only fear is…the cold weather! See you tomorrow!! Marta 🙂
